One of the most visited temples in Kangra, dedicated to Goddess Chamunda and set on the banks of the Baner river with the Dhauladhars behind.
The Chamunda Devi Temple is dedicated to a fierce form of Goddess Durga and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Kangra Valley. The temple complex sits on the banks of the Baner river, with a cave-like Shiva shrine and bathing ghats.
It lies on the Dharamshala–Palampur road, so it is easy to include on the way to Palampur, Baijnath or Bir Billing.
